I would not. Esp not on my ring finger which is a popular option for those that do do it. I would consider something for my kids but I rather just get a piece of jewelry instead.

Agrees with Bones.  I easily customized a ring from jewlr.com with my kids birthdays and stuff.

Tattoos are fascinating to look at.  Would I ever get one? No.  (Unless I get a group of you to join me in trying to revive the barbwire arm tattoo trend)
