Orchard Hills 4 - "The Summit" Updates

NEW -> Contingent Buyer Assistance Program
Irvine Councilmember Kathleen Treseder is urging undocumented residents and vulnerable individuals to remain indoors, avoid unnecessary travel, and contact the OC Rapid Response Network if ICE activity is witnessed. The hotline number is (714) 881-1558.

This sends the wrong message in my opinion...

IMO they should advice everyone to fill their gas tanks (if applicable) and stock up on bottled water and ready to eat canned food.

If you're not eating the canned food, donate them at least 3 months before "best use by" date. But since it's for emergencies, you should taste test the food before buying bulk. Canned beans can be eaten as is, but look for the low sodium and no sugar added ones. Do not trust those emergency food buckets with green colored soup powder, Knorr doesn't sell Erbswurst anymore, but they have plenty of $1 dry package foods (not ready to eat, requires additional water and cooking).

At minimum, stock at least 2 week's worth of drinking water and ready to eat rations (canned food, food bars, etc.). Have a bucket/portable toilet ("honey bucket") ready with box of disposable no-leak trash bags, toilet paper, and shovel for sanitation.

Went to the skyline lots and it had a landfill smell in the air. 7m+ to have a city view and smell of the landfill. What a deal!

Yup, the wind blows SW directly over Summit.

Looks like Toll Brothers has removed the lot statuses from their website, probably out of embarrassment. That's not going to help sell more homes and will probably make matters worse.

For some rich guys, this is just another ordinary place they occasionally stay for perhaps less than a month per year. Many rich people live around the world....
