Yes, I remember when Rick Neuheisel was our head coach he lived in a big house on the lake near Bill Gates and came to work on his fancy boat on Lake Washington. That was his standard recruiting tour; taking them around on his boat.
He had a generous loan but if he stuck around long enough, I'm sure all of those things would have been eagerly paid off by the boosters. It's amazing how coaches are usually the highest paid government workers. Much more than the college president.
