Looking for anyone who may have witnessed an accident around 10 am on Sunday October 7 near the intersection of Barranca Pkwy and Culver Dr.
My wife in the blue Toyota Sienna van was traveling westbound on Barranca and was about to turn right in to Culver Dr. She stopped in the right turn lane. There was a black Toyota Rav4 in front of her. My wife stopped about 30 feet behind the Rav4 and waited for it to turn and clear the intersection. Suddenly, the Rav4 came in reverse and ran in to the front of my wife's van, damaging the hood and the bumper.
The driver of Rav4 came out and explained that her rear wheel became stuck on the curve. She was an inexperienced driver. She admitted the accident was her fault and gave all her insurance and driver license information. She did not ask for any of my wife's information. My 7 year old son and family friend's 9 year old boy were in the van and witnessed the Rav4 backing in to my wife's van.
We should have waited for the police and file an accident report, but I had left my other son playing baseball at Harvard Park and had to go back soon. We thought her insurance would take care of it.
Now, the driver of Rav4 is claiming we rear ended her and that we were at fault.
We are looking for anyone who may have witnessed this accident to come forward and tell the truth.

Thank you very much.
