It makes me cringe when there is a motorcourt and the home is classified as SFH. If it's on a motorcourt and you get your own driveway, I can kind of get it, but still.... SMH

detached condo, or single family residence (SFR)?.

It's listed as SFR, but it's definitely a detached condo.

that?s what I meant, SFH is the legal term where you own your land your house is built on and no shared ownership of land with your neighbors. But for these motor court homes, where the private motor court has shared ownership, legally it is classified as detached condo but marketing wise the builder is using Single Family Residence to make it sound like SFH?.

More like real estate agents doing that. IP certainly didn't market my Bluffs 2 as SFR. They still call it detached condo.

Highland, on the other hand, since it has its own driveway, is classified as SFR. But street parking still isn't allowed at Highland. And Highland still has sub HOA fee as well.

I think this will easily go at 2M! Nice location, former model.

It's quite unimpressive for a former model and the exterior is arguably the worst, if this is IP home. I think it's Lago?

Almost $1000/sq ft is crazy for a detached condo. I guess there will be a desperate buyer somehow.

That home is similar to the ones in BR like this onehttps://www.redfin.com/CA/Lake-Forest/72-Eclipse-92630/home/143912457.The county classifies that as SFH.

I really don?t like how SFH is so loosely used in real estate. There should be a clear definition of what SFH is. It definitely shouldn?t be one if it has no backyard or driveway IMO.

Backyard could be small or big, so I don't think that should be one of the criteria. I think the most important criteria is that it SHOULD at least have a driveway that you can park your car without obstructing anything. This BR one doesn't seem to have it.

What I mean is if you don?t have both a driveway and backyard, it?s not a SFH.

Your logic doesnt make sense. A courtyard home with both driveway and backyard should be SFH?

Well, as long as it has both driveway, then it doesn't matter if it's motor court. The so-called motor court at BR/Meadows are just what they call "private driveway". You can consider it a short cul de sac if you want.
