Naw, that?s my shitty photography skills. Her eyes are all black without the flash.
[quote author="Cameray" date=1252676466]Is that a poodle or poodle mix? What do your other pets think of the new addition?</blockquote>
Bijon frise. I have two mixed breed poodles, and they are a little butt hurt over their new sister. They are adjusting, but interestingly enough are much better behaved with the new addition.
[quote author="qwerty" date=1252676908]Very cute pup. Did you get her from a rescue? That is awesome if you did.</blockquote>
Our first two were. This one we got from a pet store. Before you start in on me (because trust me, I know, I swore I'd never do this) she is ten months old and spent eight of them in the store. Nobody is buying purebred dogs right now (think adios HELOC) and we were able to free her from the Plexiglas cage for a couple hundred bucks (her inital price was over $1200) which was less than from an animal shelter. She needed a home and the price was more than right.
Who I feel bad for is the dog she shared a kennel with. Poor guy was distraught when we took her home. Can't save them all.
She?s almost full grown at ten pounds, but she has no skills or habits. I mean none. She was afraid of the outside for a couple of days and would just hover around the Mrs. Now she?s learned she can run around the house and instead of the ?quiet little dog? we have something that sounds like Stompy the Elephant that charges around the house all day!</blockquote>
Thank you for doing this. I often wonder what happens to the older dogs at the pet stores. If I didn't have a house full of cats, I'd be tempted to go and get her cage mate. Maybe another IHB'er has room for him??</blockquote>
Yeah that was very nice of you - i always feel bad for the pet store pups to the point that when i pass a pet store i rarely go in there. I have three little ones already, cant convince the wife to get a fourth, ive thought about fostering but with three around the house already it makes it very hard to convince the wife. If it was just up to me i would definitely do it.
