I went with the Panny TH-50PZ800U. I plugged my HDX18 into the front HDMI port and selected "GAME" as the input. I had some initial overscan but the nVidia card has a tool to adjust the second display and after some tweaking, I got my laptop's native 1080p resolution to render identically on my plasma. There is no discernable difference between two blu-ray movie sources, one being the blu-ray drive and the other being the Panasonic DMP-BD35 Blu-ray player.WINEX said:Girl In the OC said:![]()
Sharp LC52D64U 52inch Aquos LCD HDTV
That's a nice TV. I looked closely at the Sharp Aquos line, but ended up getting a Panasonic plasma.
While GITOC might not have the same video card, she does have an HDMI out and I doubt she'll have much loss of resolution on her Aquos when she gets the output set to 1920x1080 and adjusts the input colors.
