this one is for IHO - i lost $50 on this one. Took OKC -5.5, i dropped the wager to $50 since i didnt feel real confident but wanted to have a little something on the game to make it more interesting.

I'm hoping Miami can win 3 at home... but that's doubtful.

Miami does much better when Wade and Bosh show up... watching all these games... I'm not sure if LeBron always disappears in the 4th... I think because everyone plays him tighter, he actually has to distribute more than shoot himself.

And I agree with USC... Battier is turning out to be a solid part of Miami's success... taking charges, shooting 3s... the radio shows say Miami should go big with Haslem/Anthony and Bosh but I think Battier gives them the extra defense they need.

I forgot to ask before the game if anyone was betting on the Thunder.

Great way to wind down Father's Day... close game with the Heat sealing it. It's not looking good for the young-uns.

I just finished watching the game. I took the money line with okc, 100 to win 165. It all went down hill with that crappy call on Durants 4th foul. If okc had won the first two in okc I would have gone with Miami but figured okc would win this one since they dropped game 2

Lost another 6pt teaser parlay.  Took OKC +10pts but didn't hit the over because they didn't score much in the 4Q.

so looks like LBJ will get his ring.. bonehead move by Westbrook in the end... i hope they bring it back to OKC.. I want more games..

was really rooting for OKC...always like seeing the underdog win

definitely horrible play by westbrook at end but he did carry OKC the whole game...for whatever reason, they just didnt seem to sustain their energy

So anyone betting on Miami?

i was recording the game, i lost track of time at work and didnt get my bet before the game started, good thing too, since i was going to take OKC.

they are done.

just curious.  why does the shot clock reset to 5 for that jumpball?  I have never heard of that rule til tonight (which is a surprise in itself) but it just seems to be a rule that should be changed.

I don't understand the logic in the rule.  Defense plays hard, forces a bad shot and ties up the rebound, yet the offense gets more time on the clock?  To me its like why don't you reset the shot clock to 5 when the defense pokes the ball out of bounds or blocks a shot out of bounds.  Of course they would not do that on a blocked shot, so why increase it for a jump ball?

But can't really blame Westbrook after the game he had.  If anything the Thunder should be saying "we let Westbrook down."  It did seem like Durant/westbrook were getting hacked or pushed on shots alot while Wade and Lebron would get those foul calls.

Other than that.  The Thunder had many chances and just made some bad plays on offense.  Harden missed two wide open threes.  Harden missed that layup after the slight collision with Wade behind him (I thought he was going to just fall down and take the foul).  Westbrook dribble off foot.  Sefolosha takes forever to shoot three and gets blocked.  Tough game to watch.

It's not the same as an out of bounds play where it's clear whose possession it is. A jump ball is just that... no one knows whose ball it is... so to be fair, they put 5 seconds on the clock if less than 5 seconds (which is not a lot of time off a jump). A smarter play by the defense is knowing that time is running out... instead of trying to tie it up, just defend the shot so the clock expires.

Good game to watch for me... wasn't decided until that fatal Westbrook foul and then turnover.

I'm sure even if Miami wins the championship... LBJ will still come under scrutiny.

Did Harden even play tonight?

The beard missed a gimme layup following a steal that would've given them the lead at 89-90. Tons of missed open looks.
What happened to the man that was so instrumental in dismantling the Lakers?

I knew that one... (my father used to run the 24-second clock for the Clips back when World.B.Free, Bill Walton, and JellyBean used to run the court.)  ;-)

Not only that, he passed up on a wide open 13-15 foot shot with about 2 minutes ago.  I think he is not all there mentally.  The problem is that OKC can not win without a decent game by him.  Looks like Miami will close them out tomorrow.  I'll be betting Miami tomorrow (points and moneyline).
