Done. Although I was hoping for better than a 5-4 split.
You'll definitely beat me in rebounds since that is the category I'm not trying to win this season. Luol Deng wasn't as valuable to my team for that reason. Rubio is an assist & steals machine, but also a turnover machine. I'm already getting assists and steals from other players, so I don't need Rubio's turnovers. He was just sitting on my bench week after week. Since I've lost Bargnani to a "strained calf" my focus has been on increasing scoring production. That's what makes Jarret Jack more valuable to me than Rubio right now.
Your Deng drop still doesn't make sense to me... he contributes in all categories... not just rebounds... and he scores which is contrary to your current strategy (he shoots the 3s too)... but we'll see... and I shouldn't complain considering I got him.
I think Homer is in trouble this week... Linsanity is taking over!!!
PS9... I'm willing to part with him for the right price... you're the only one who's offered a guy I would consider trading for... you know you want to get Linsane in the membrane!
If Bargnani was playing it wouldn't have even been close. I also had another player miss a game due to his grandma's funeral. I don't remember who, but there seem to be a lot of grandma's funerals this season as well.
I maybe should have kept Deng on the bench, but if you take away his rebounding (which I don't care about) he's not much more valuable than other small forward free agents. Ginobili is much better across the board and he's back in my lineup now (although not 100% yet).
I'm not sure how the league rankings are calculated, but obviously if I'm punting a category it renders those rankings meaningless and puts higher emphasis on the categories that I'm not punting. Losing players to injury also alters the emphasis temporarily because I have to find niche players to fill in certain gaps.
I'm not using Bargnani as an excuse. Afterall, I still won our matchup.
I've had an average of two injured players on my active roster EVERY WEEK since this league began. Last week was my most injury free with only one player out due to grandma's funeral. So like I tell my 2 year old, no more wah-wah's from you. :'(
But probably would have been 5-4 instead of 6-3, the only stat Ginobli could have helped you in was 3s... anything else I was either blowing you out (rebounds, blocks, steals) or you already won (assists, FT%).

Only in Irvine would a Chinese/Taiwanese(?) PG be worth the same as Dwayne Wade.

Looks like Danny Granger rolled his ankle and will be out the rest of this week for me. Man, there are a lot of injuries this year. I'm pretty happy I picked up Cousins as a free agent weeks ago, he puts up some good numbers.

I guess we are going to disagree.
I don't know how you can take away a stat (or not care for one) he does well in when he also contributes in all other stats. Deng is rated #7 among SFs in our league, the next Free Agent is Tony Allen at #19.
But I guess it is personal preference because although Ginobli is currently ranked #4 on that same list, I would take many more SFs over him, including Deng.
All the other leagues I'm in have Deng definitely rated high (like I said... he's helping us stay in 1st in one league)... which is why even PS9 tried to go after him on waivers.
And I think it's unfair to mention Bargs as an excuse... he wasn't even IN your lineup... I had both Rose AND Gallo active and lost them both early... had either one of them not been injured (or had I started other players)... even if you had Bargs active... I still think I would have won.
Anyways... don't think I'm hating on you LL... I'm glad you're here and playing fantasy NBA with us... this is more back-and-forth than all my other leagues.

I see your point in punting... I don't even look at FT% (as my 0-7 record indicates).
I think we're 1-1 in matchups... but I'm up 10-8 in points... so I'll take the "loss"... hehe.
