All those homes have cool stories, especially since they were built before the depression. BK's pager must be broken... between me, tmare, and Mc80 his pager would be blowing up to know the info on this home. Oh... and I'm sure Cayci pinged him too. Do tell BK... we know you know the story on this home.

BTW... WTF?! One picture! Lazy Santa Ana Realty turds... they need a lesson from the pic master known as Deuce. For the love of gawd, at least get a shot of the kitchen, living room, and master bedroom. Really... at $1.1mil. you can afford a photographer to be out there before you list the home.

Just FYI for those not familiar, Victoria Drive is the premiere location in Floral Park. The street has a "Beverly Hills" type of feel to it. It is without a doubt THE street in Floral Park. The lack of pics of this house is unforgivable, the local agent who lives on the street and lost this listing (and another the other on the street) is furious right now, even though I don't particularly like her, I know she would have had pictures posted immediately.

There are three homes that appear to be almost identical in their exterior to this one in Floral Park, two are for sale (the other is on North Park) and one has been owned by my in-laws for over 30 years. In fact, all three are even painted the same exterior colors. These are pretty rare finds in Floral Park, the fact that there are 3 homes for sale on Victoria is significant. Any loan info on this particular one, graphrix?

I was going to tell Vlad to check out N. Tustin, because there are some older hidden gems there as well as some more modernly, but old school esthetically built homes that would be BK approved. Being close to old town Tustin it might fit his bill. But... really... only losers who "hate" Irvine want to live there with their no sidewalks and inferior to Irvine schools. Not to mention you might find that dreaded 3+ car garage, and only ugly, fat, tech nerds who love the Clippers and the convenience of the District Costco love 3 car garages. So I can't recommend N. Tustin since everyone there has crankypants that fit too tightly.

But... Fullerton seems like a REALLY good choice. Thanks to Mc80, Cayci and I are planning a trip over there to check out the hoods she mentions. Maybe... just maybe she could help lead a tour of us historic home loving nutters around there. This might cause a flood of buyers there and create bidding wars, but if a tour happens then maybe people will keep Fullerton on the DL as to how cool it is. Just sayin...

Funny story that illustrates the differences in the market today.

My in-laws received a knock on the door 3 years ago. A man wanted to purchase their Floral Park home (very similar to the one M80 posted). He offered 2 million cash and became extremely frustrated and angry with my father-in-law's insistence that it was not for sale. The one for sale now is on a street that is considered to be much more desirable and it is offered at 1.1 mil.

More pictures of listing on www.santaanarealty.com

Still... no interior photos, not a single one on <a href="http://www.santaanarealty.com/listings/2019-n-victoria-drive">found here</a>. And because AI made me get out my crankypants... how hard is it to figure out what that "<a>" button does? Come on... I know many techtarded people on here who know how to link for gawdsakes. It is a simple button, it's not like we are asking you to use freakin code here.

Disclosure: Cameray... do not take it personally. Just some dumb people have made some really dumb posts tonight, and unfortunately you are getting some of the aftermath. Sorry in advance.

I'm computer challenged!!! I admit it!!! I want to go over to your house and you can tutor me! Ha, ha. I'll try not to take offense but I've had a BAD week. I just got off babysitting duty and had to deal with an 8 year old going on 11. Maybe I'll just read the posts in the future and not comment.

It's been a crazy week for me too, so I will let you slide. Please don't let my crankypants prevent you from posting comments. Hell, here is <a href="http://www.irvinehousingblog.com/forums/viewthread/2018/">IHB 101 for you.</a> Just know that much of what I say is tongue in cheek, and more light hearted than you might think. Just go look at my posts with IHO... that 3 car garage loving whore is really a cool guy that can take my snark well. BTW, I never want to know what color his underwear is... despite his desire to give me clues.

I should have added that my grandson sang Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer for me on my last day babysitting so I think he's got you beat this week! I plan on getting even with him though. I think I'll rent some really scary movie and he'll be up all night with nightmares. Just kidding! I'm making myself laugh at the thought of it.

The owner of this property lives in Oceanside of all places. The property was purchased on 6/18/91 for an unknown amount however the accessed value $102,540 and there hasn't been a loan on this property since it was acquired.

That may explain the lack of pics. The owner may not want it advertised that the house is vacant, lest some enterprising person w/o a roof offer to "babysit" it in the meantime w/o permission.

Re: Tmare's comment. My guess is that the other agent also isn't thrilled with steep price reduction on this one, <em>because</em> she lives on the same street. ;)

We are heading over there today.

Cayci has a lot of photos... including many interior shots. Now... we know <em>why</em> they didn't post any interior photos of 2019. Ouch... bring your contractor and a lot of money... it's going to cost you to open all those cans of worms.

I popped in on my way home from my office. Dear Gawd! It looked like someone one hadn't lived there since 1970. Even with that orange carpet, the house was still better than 99% of the homes in the OC. I didn't go in the Gone with the Wind house. Did you?

Guess that explains why the owner lives in Oceanside. So is this a fixer or is it just seriously outdated inside?
