Great... global warming, here we come...! Sometimes during high tides, the water is maybe less than 10 feet from the top of the breakers... if you look down Bayshore crossing the bridge from Naples going to the Shore on 2nd street... case in point see below...

Too funny, see the third boat? That's mine. I know this spot well and it sometimes is about 6 inches over the street level but it never floods. The beach across the way (Horney Corners) can totally disappear during extreme tides.

That's gotta add 100K in value. Best salsa EVER !

Love Super Mex.

I'm sensing an IHB field trip in the future.

I second the field trip recommendation to Super Mex.

I am so there!

We have discussed a field trip to the shore before. I did offer my boat for after dinner cocktails. We do have a jacuzzi on that dock.

Thoughts? Reactions? I think it's nicely upgraded... I like the vaulted ceiling, and all the wood and windows.. and kept the tradition of the house but brought out the newness... next to El Dorado... and a big lot!

RC, I like the Cliff May homes for their clean lines an zen like feel. There was a little discussion about the Cliff May Rancho Tract in Long Beach in this thread.. This is a site with archives of many Cliff May houses in that tract. Here is a link to that neighborhood's Yahoo Group.

I honestly can't see you in a MCM. These homes are designed to isolate you from the neighbors. The front of the house if walled in by a courtyard so you never see what is going on with your neighbors and vice versa. Some will love this type of house as it is designed to be shut off from the world and tranquil. But you seem like the type of person that likes neighborly interaction. This neighborhood is not like Belmont Shores.

Besides, I already found you your prefect neighborhood in Fullerton. What are you still doing looking in LB? ;-P

thanks for that link McD... I have another running joke with the wife when in the LBC... we would go into an open house and I immediately mark mentally the walls we need to knock down... the house above basically just has three rooms... nice...! From the street, the house looks very awkward, and BTW Ilike a little privacy...

It's being sold by a flipper. A month ago, he paid $129k less than list price for it.

If you liked that one you must love this one. Right down the street. Dropped its price 60 big ones today! The flag is up! Ane ther they go...who will win the race to the bottom?

376 Audra Dr

The views on that one appear to be blocked by the neighbor. The Wendy Lane house directly overlooks the water, which has to command a premium.

Lopped off $60,000.00 today. Not a bad savings for a blocked view

the price war has begun.. we know the house on Audra is very motivated... it's a single mom with two kids, who bought a more affordable house and NEEDS to sell now!! Sad story,, apparently the husband left her with a infant... we like Audra a little better... Not that there is a lot of traffic, but the street runs straight into the house on Wendy Ln...

This house on Ultimo is back... the house had a Escrow Sign out front, but I guess fell through... it was listed for $790, but since has been raised to $799, go figure? A house drops out of escrow which justifies a price increase?

Over $800/sf for an apartment sized home with a super tiny lot? LOL The owner was stupid enough to pay over $1,000/sf...them are Manhattan prices. Call me when this baby is below $500k.
