I almost had this today. I got the breakfast burger instead.

That's a big breakfast.... what do you have for lunch?

Skipping lunch today. Normally I have oatmeal or cereal in the morning. I was craving one today though and it's Friday so I said wth.

Macaroni Grill BOGO Express Dinner Entree:http://macaronigrill.fbmta.com/members/ViewMailing.aspx?MailingID=2147550395

This is a pretty good deal making it $9 for 2 dinners.  They have a bit of a weird setup for this, they put you in the restaurant but you order at a cash register first - then pick your own seat.  They charge you $1 extra for bread and they have a waiter bring out your food.

I asked them if they charge $1 for a loaf of bread now throughout the restaurant or just to the people on the 'express' side.  They said the express dinner doesn't come with bread.  Since they are pretty much treating this like a fast food experience - I assumed they weren't expecting any gratuity so I didn't leave one.  Anyhow I had already paid at the cash register.

The only other things I've had there is a qwerger and their banana cream pie dessert.

We eat here when we have no other choices or last minute.  Most spectrum places are packed Friday/Sat nights.  They usually have open table available.  But definitely if no coupon then not worth it.  At least service is generally good and the booths are comfy.  Wish they would refresh the menu a bit.

Olive Garden 7 week all you can eat pass goes on sale tomorrow Sept 17.

$100 per person, or $300 for family of four.

All the pasta, salad, bread sticks, and soft drinks you can consume for seven weeks, including up to 2 to go order per day.

Sounds fun and challenging.  What's the strategy?
I think the strategy is to eat there every night and get a take out order every lunchtime.  If you only eat there once a day for 7 weeks, it would cost $600 vs. $100 for the pass.  Eat there twice a day and double the savings.  Get your family involved with a family pass and save even more.  No dishes to wash for 7 weeks.  We need a ITer to step up and do this and give us weekly updates on how its going.
