How strict are Irvine HOAs regarding power tools like table saws?

If I wanted to do home repair cutting tile with a table saw and observe normal working hours, will that trigger HOAs in filing a notice? I think it would be fine if professional contractors knocked it out in a few weeks, but a home DIYer would take months, lol.  >

Since newer Irvine homes are so close together, I could see easily see upset neighbors filing complaints. The older neighborhoods like El Camino should be no problem though.

Is this something to worry about?

One of my neighbors spent months with a table saw in his garage on a DIY project. I don't believe anyone complained to the HOA.

The HOA should fine you for using a table saw to cut tile.

Irvine Municipal Code section 6-8-205B prohibits noise of maintenance of real property from 7 p.m.-7 a.m. on any day except Sundays. On Sundays and Federal holidays property maintenance noise is restricted between the hours of 6 p.m.-9 a.m.
