Goodbye IHB

BTW: In yesterday's main blog article, IR did apologize for how the announcement was made:

People seem to be recovering from the weekend?s nuclear blast. I knew the announcement would have some shock value, but I did not anticipate the level of heightened emotion it would cause. If I had it to do over again, I would do it differently. I apologize to everyone who was upset and hurt by my foolish decision. I am completely human.

Other commenters stated he didn't need to apologize but I don't think they quite understood what he was apologizing for.

I appreciated the gesture.

I too, think that was a nice gesture.

All these heated exchanges are only spurned out due to the mutual respect for IR and company. I think IHB is a unique place that has connected many egos and personalities and has inevitably brought the passion that comes with it.

Hi... long time lurker/first time poster. I don't think this is a "sell out" situation. Even if the blog were being sold (which it isn't) that doesn't imply that any of the content or editorial decisions would be compromised. After Unilever bought Ben & Jerry's, didn't they continue to make ethical ice cream?

Anyway... 9 pages of shit. And here's some more shit to pile on the existing shit.

I don't know Larry, but what I do know is that he was kind enough to front me a copy of his book, even though I read it after purchasing my awesome ass house, I don't know many people who will give someone they just met a $20 credit... The bastard even signed my copy.

His dedication and commitment to inform US and give his perspective via the IHB blog (DAILY RITUAL) deserves some kind of monetary compensation, pats on the back feel good, unfortunately they don't pay the bills. All y'all haters need to get off of his nuts, shit, Larry's gotta eat too, right? I'm positive that he wouldn't want to ruin his hard earned reputation for a quick buck.

As for Zack's site, the key words here are, "Zack's site", the guy can do whatever the f* he wants with HIS site. If he wants to pull the plug on HIS site, he can do that, why? Because it's HIS site. Did I mention that this was Zack's site?

As for Shevy, you need to get on board son... The natives are restless.
