Other than that white dot on the ceiling, what is funky here?

Is reading so foreign to most Californians that this qualifies as "funky"???

Is this the test that tells I'm not from here?

When putting a home on the market, most real estate professionals will agree that a room should have a defined purpose. This is a bedroom masquerading as a library of sorts. A tasteful bookshelf would look fine. A wall of shelves running the length of the room stocked from floor to ceiling... seems a little distracting to the eye and may take away from the other nice features of the room. It gives it quite a cluttered appearance. How you use your home is one thing... how you present it when it's for sale, is another. That is just my opinion. For some people, they may look at this and I suppose they could think it is just what they're looking for. Enjoy.

If you look closer, then you will see that it is not a collection of books, but actually a huge collection of pr0n.

By the looks of it they recently did a remodel.

There prob use to be a wall dividing the kitchen from the rest of the house, but they wanted to open it up and make it more of a great room.

Although they could not get rid of those two beams since it is a supporting structure(load bearing wall), and they did that.

That's what I thought too, except the posts don't seem to line up with the one next to the fridge.

Apparently the sellers are downsizing their home and their vehicle.

Or maybe it's to help potential buyers imagine how rich they'll be once they pay over half a mil for a fixer upper near Inglewood.

Linkified

I'm familiar with the agent, and she strikes me as a real airhead. I believe that's actually her Hummer in the pic.

I have been trying to figure that out since you first posted it. I have no clue. I showed it to my husband. He doesn't know either. We're both curious. If you find out, let us know.
