UN Cuts Down 100,000 Amazon Trees to Make Way for ‘Climate Change’ Summit​

The United Nations (UN) is facing backlash after reports confirmed that around 100,000 trees were cut down in the Amazon rainforest to build new roads and infrastructure for its upcoming COP30 “climate change” summit.

The conference is set to take place in the Brazilian city of Belém in November.

It will bring an estimated 70,000 delegates and activists to the region to discuss “saving the planet” and “protecting biodiversity.”

To accommodate the massive influx of attendees, construction crews have carved an eight-mile, four-lane highway, Avenida Liberdade, directly through a dense section of the Amazon rainforest.
Environmental observers estimate that roughly 100,000 mature trees were logged to complete the project, causing widespread disruption to local wildlife habitats.

For years, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, or IPCC, has claimed that human-caused climate change has accelerated sea level rise.

But that claim is false. There is no scientific evidence of accelerated sea level rise since the mid-19th Century, and thus none showing human-created emissions caused an acceleration in recent decades.

This does not mean that climate change isn’t happening. It is. It simply means that it has not caused the sea level to rise at a rate any higher than one would expect without human-caused climate change.

Not only that, but the top scientists know this fact and have deliberately misrepresented it for years, deceiving the public.

In September, I reported on one of the first global studies of sea level rise that used tide-gauge data, which is the only real-world data that goes back long enough, to the mid-19th Century, that would allow one to detect whether sea level rise had accelerated, decelerated, or remained steady.

Since then, I exchanged over 50 emails with one of the world’s leading sea level rise scientists, Robert Kopp from Rutgers University, and heard back from IPCC, NASA, and NOAA, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.

What I learned shocked me. For years, the world’s top scientists have known that they cannot prove there has been an acceleration of sea level rise, and yet they have told the public that they can.

Drop in air pollution has INCREASED global warming by making clouds less reflective, scientists warn

In their new study, researchers from the University of Washington analysed the clouds over the Northeastern Pacific and Atlantic oceans between 2003 and 2022.

Their analysis revealed that the clouds have become nearly three per cent less reflective per decade.

And according to the experts, approximately 70 per cent of this change can be attributed to reductions in air pollution.

'When you cut pollution, you're losing reflectivity and warming the system by allowing more solar radiation, or sunlight, to reach Earth,' explained lead author Knut von Salzen.

Wall Street’s ‘net zero’ climate push collapses as US banks flee do-gooder alliances: report​

Wall Street’s support of “net zero” climate initiatives has collapsed as major US banks and money managers have bolted from do-gooder environmental coalitions, according to a report.

All six major US banks — JPMorgan Chase, Bank of America, Goldman Sachs, Citigroup, Morgan Stanley and Wells Fargo — have quit the Net Zero Banking Alliance, according to the new study from the Committee to Unleash Prosperity.

The exodus helped cripple the once-powerful group, which had 140 member banks representing $75.5 trillion in combined assets as recently as November 2024.

The alliance ended operations as a membership organization in October of last year and now provides voluntary climate guidelines, the report noted.

Overall, banks’ support of “net zero” causes plunged nearly 90% over the past four years, according to the Committee to Unleash Prosperity.
