I've been noticing EBT advertisements at food spots near campus. Del Taco at Campus and California has large signs and I think I may have also seen it advertised at Tenori (the rice ball place) at UTC. Have these EBT ads always been there or is it a recent push (and by whom)? Is there a significant population of people who receive these benefits - students? seniors?

That program is rife with corruption…I remember being in line at a subway buying lunch for my kids. There was this 20-25 year old white skateboarder Spicolli type in front of me ordering a foot long meal. He looked healthy and more than capable of work. Spicolli whips out his EBT card and pays for his whole meal with it…so I tell him…”I gotta pay for My kids food and yours too?” He smirked, said thanks and skated off…I was so
