Diet Coke

I drink Coke Zero and it tastes better than Diet Coke. It will keep you as wired as any other soda...nothing special. Mainly I drink it for the better taste and lower calories. The only problem is that most restaurants don't carry it.

Carls Jr. carries coke zero, this is probably the best tasting diet soda around.

a beer in the morning will set whatever you did last night right, so the day won't start with endorphine-sapping negative emotions. You may find it hard to concentrate later in the morning, so reserve that time for manual tasks.

I rarely drink soda anymore - have maybe one a year. Love my coffee first thing in the morning. I am addicted to chocolate though....

If we're talking about addictions... mine is definitely coffee. It's my daytime beer, with the "ahhhhhhh" feeling after you first sip.

My daytime beer is CK's beer. When he's not there. Same "ahhhhhh" feeling.

Happy IHB anniversary, btw, Mr. CK.

Where do you get that?

Coke zero is nothing like crack. Just another diet coke. Pepsi Max on other hand is more like crack -that will give you a nice little kick to get you going. I personally reach for Propel first thing in the morning.</blockquote>

My husband drinks Coke Zero. He says it tastes just like Diet Coke. But, according to him, Coke Zero is for boys and Diet Coke is for Girls. I never really thought about it but when you look at the can design and name of the two I can total see why he thinks that.

Tell your husband I'll challenge him to a fistfight next time we meet! Okay, not really.

From what I read, Diet Coke was fomulated to taste like old skool pre-1985 Coke, and Coke Zero is formulated to taste like new formula Coke. I lust after catering trucks with Mexican Coca Cola made with the same pre 1985 formula I grew up on.

I really don't like Coke Zero. I'm sure nobody's the least bit suprised.

You'll have to forgive my husband for the two dominating princesses in his life drive him to hang onto his manliness through black and red designed diet colas. However ,as I write this, I'm watching him finish a set of one handed pull ups so he might be able to defend his Coke Zero loving ways.

Close.

Diet Coke is formulated to taste like "New Coke" which was introduced on 4/23/85.

Coke Zero is formulated to taste like Coca-Cola Classic, which in itself is formulated to taste like the original pre 4/23/85 coca-cola. The difference being that Coca-Cola Classic uses HFCS and pre 4/23/85 coca-cola uses cane sugar.

Look for the yellow caps during Passover. They are kosher and made with cane sugar (but label still reads corn syrup).
