Dell/Alienware OEM Samsung SSD not supported by Samsung SSD utilities

After ~10 years I'm finally upgrading my Windows PC. Ordered a Dell Alienware R16 with 1TB Samsung SSD via Black Friday special. Turned out Dell use OEM version of Samsung 860 Pro and it's not supported by Samsung Magician software. Yup, no Samsung magician to run diagnostics or set over provisioning to extend SSD lifespan. If you're planning to order a desktop PC from Dell, I'd suggest getting it with the smallest/cheapest HDD then swap it with a retail Samsung SSD that supports Magician.

The included RTX 4060 is more power efficient, but slightly inferior to RTX 3060 TI in performance. Too lazy to swap cards.

Baldur's Gate 3 downloading... >100 GB. *snore*

It's expect for a OEM SSD, Dell has all kind of firmware customization requirements. Leaving a chunk of your drive unpartitioned may have the same effect as over provisioning but I'm not sure drive longevity is really a concern nowadays.
