Best Stocks for Next 10 years

Stocks like NVDA and AMD are volatile, so I think this depends on your age and risk tolerance. For someone in their 20's, investing all their money in individual stocks with higher risk & rewards is more acceptable than say, Warren Buffet's wife - his instructions for how to manage her account after his passing is 10% treasuries and 90% index funds.

Treasuries are often touted as "risk free" investments that will help smooth out your portfolio's performance, but in a rising rate environment they can be just as deadly as stocks.

Long-Treasury ETF Plunges Record 48% as Market Meltdown Worsens

The largest long-dated bond ETF is suffering its biggest drawdown on record as the Federal Reserve’s higher-for-longer interest rates start to sting.

The $39 billion iShares 20+ Year Treasury Bond ETF (ticker TLT) has lost 48% from its 2020 all-time high and is trading at its lowest point since 2011, according to data compiled by Bloomberg. Agreed, this cycle is similar to the 1994-95 rate cycle when the Fed raised interest rates 300 basis points in 12 months it caused an inverted yield curve And a subsequent recession. Best way to trade it was a zero-coupon US government strip ladder…worked beautifully in the Mid90’s. made over 20% in a year and a half when the yield curve collapsed back to normal. Haven’t put that trade on in 30 years. Putting it on aggressively now!
