Amusing Property Finds

While I will likely not be moving back for another two years, I found an interesting home for sale for $800K. I have not seen the property in person since 1989, but I understand that it has been well maintained (the original owners divorced and sold the home in around 1995). I only post this as a perspective on how far 800 dimes goes once you leave South County.

The construction quality and materials are top notch. The interior is open beam and plaster, with lots of Mexican tile. The previous owner had Sub Zero and Viking appliances when nobody had heard of them in 1981. The kitchen has a walk in fridge and freezer. The outdoor kitchen is more complete than my current kitchen. You can park 200 cars on the back lawn for charity events and not knock off a sprinkler head. The pool has been changed (the original one was black bottomed). While realtards everywhere love to place "entertainers delight" in their listings, I thought users of the IHB might be interested to see what the real deal looks like.

On edit, the link I posted is dead. Here is a live link, and the price has been reduced 5% to 760K.

Another view of the driveway, and the DETACHED FOUR CAR GARAGE.
