American girl place

[quote author="bkshopr" date=1258629379][quote author="Nude" date=1258628163]so, to sum this up

CZ: "I'd like to do something nice for my daughter"

Most of IHB: "Awwwww"

Nude: "WTF?!? What about feminism, what about Gloria Steinem, were all those bra's burned in vain?"

Most of IHB: "Dude, chill out"

Nude: "Sorry... but what about all those bras?"

BK: "Nude, chill, here is history of doll company. And here is history of pr0n in Orange County"

Nude: "Bk, whoa!"

The end.

CZ, I hope your daughter has fun ;)</blockquote>

What about CP's comment? He should be in the table of contents too.</blockquote>

I really can't remember what they were (?).

[quote author="bkshopr" date=1258624030]Childplease,

What can I say? You are the generation with sense of entitlement.</blockquote>

Do you wikipedia all this or are you gloria clemente? Before I started posting, I'd read this forum for some time and was impressed w/ your knowledge on random topics, but nothing amazed me as much as your knowledge and passion about american girl. It was also creepy and wierd fyi, especially when you added the porn commentary on the american girl thread...just saying.

Anyways, let's be cordial :) and I want to congratulate you. Your post about american girl has to be a record for longest post in IHB history. I challenge someone to prove that wrong minus posts including an article.

Nude, no hard feelings, I just like to tease bitter people w/ chips on their shoulder because guys like you are annoying in real life...just saying. :)

Tmare, thanks for the welcome, the first and only. And my wife is a teacher so I don't really think it's an easy job. Was trying to tease/hit a sore spot.

Stopped ghosting and started posting to inject a little humor on this forum but BK's not laughing so I'll go back to ghosting. Plus no one gives my comments a "thanks". It hurts when there's no thumbs up next to your comments.

Childplease,

I accept your compliment even though it was done in a backhanded way. Welcome to IHB, Nude and I have tons of information to offer because of our life experience. None of it is researched or googled except for the taco truck history. Growing up in an protected environment and insulated from hardship is a good thing. Book smart is also good. We are now experiencing an entire generation of kids who are now adults and even parents not equipped with the proper skill to harmoniously work in an work environment.

Mrs BK oversees a very large operation. The problematic staff are the Asians with the poorest judgement and people skills. The sad thing is that they were all high achievers from UCI and other acclaimed schools with high grade point average and being extremely book smart. Based on their excellent credential they were hired at this prestigious company. Many grew up with similar background like yours and doing their very first job.

There are a lot of things you can't learn from books. Perception, analytical, and observation skills are what Nude and I have that you don't have. We can both live in the ghetto and survive very well but for you my son you will end up dead. This is one the reasons why so many Asians want to live in the safety of Irvine. Their neighborhood survival skill is barely as good as driving skill.

Here are some places in Irvine you should avoid:

Parking structures. The higher the level the higher the risk.

many Albertsons: Inside and outside especially the back.

Home Depot: avoid the plumbing aisle

Bank of America: don't go in and just use the ATM outside.

Avoid Marriott period.

Beware of Food courts.

Avoid campus housing at UCI

Avoid making friends with IAC leasing office staff.

Avoid apartments with delinquent renters.

Avoid business park parking lots.

Avoid banks on Culver and 5

Avoid converted garages

Avoid Apartment units by the stairs.

Avoid executive offices on ground level.

The safest places in all of OC are the hospitals in Santa Ana because no one can harm you there.

I write and know a lot about different topics and some are much longer than others pending on my workload. Yesterday was my slow day.

I know everything about you and your family just from the few posts you posted so far.

For god sakes. What happened to this poor thread about "American Girl" ?

Between Nude and the Asians talking about Porn. Its getting freaky

I thought this is/was the Parenting Forum ?

So the thread is hijacked.. officially:)

Here is an update on my story- I have decided to take the little one to American Girl Place after all, sometimes in December. It will only be for a photo shoot though. I know I am a very good photographer especially when kids are my subjects, but still I will do it so that she can have some fun.

You can select from several backgrounds that resemble a teen magazine cover. Make sure to bring the doll. They have little girl outfits that match the doll outfits as well.

After reading all of this yesterday (the on topic stuff), my wife decided its time we got our daugther into this American girl deal. Heading to The Grove on Saturday to learn all about it and start getting ready for x-mas. Since we will be in Minneapolis with my parents for the holidays, we plan to present the doll to her there --- and then promptly visit the American Girl Place at the Mall of America for some lunch with the doll ;). And I'm sure she'll be taking her doll to The Grove outlet promptly upon her return to So Cal. This should be interesting. Thanks to all for your thoughts on this. especially your review, BK.

I bet the non-parents on this board are absolutely freaking out at what I just typed. Hehehe..

I went to some event once and there was a formula 1 race car driver doing autographs. He would write whatever we asked, so my autographed photo says "asians are the best drivers." So your theory about me or any other asian avoiding parking structures is totally off.

Perception and observation are normal skills anyone picks up, no matter where/how you grew up. For example, I always was had a smart a$$ mouth, and I would regularly perceive and observe my older brothers friends reactions to my comments and proceed to run away before they could catch me.

If all those Asian kids were so bad at work, why keep hiring them? Obviously, their doing something right. Tell your wife to write a mission statement at work on how they should be recruiting from the lowest tier colleges and the mcdonald's across the street. I'd guarantee 2 things...a failed company and a lunch date w/ Bob Sugar.

Please proceed to tell me everything you know about my family...or will it just be a bunch of stereotypes? It'll be funny to hear every known stereotype about asians and money.

Maybe you need to remember that we all have sarcastic relatives and friends that we appreciate. We appreciate them because we love them and we KNOW them, not to mention that we also have the benefit of seeing expressions on their faces. I'm sure your relatives and friends feel this way about you. We can't see your face, you aren't our relative, nor even our friend. Just a suggestion that you may want to go easy on the sarcasm and jokes until a few of us here have actually figured you out a bit better. It's hard to come into an online community like gangbusters and expect to be embraced. Most people who come in that way end up leaving very quickly. I hope you stay.

Honestly, I would never want to see an older asian woman (BK I'm assuming you married an asian woman) standing in the middle of the office with a box in one hand and zip lock full of goldfish in the other shouting..."Sho, who gonna coming wit me's!?!?!?"

I think you have it backward there, slick. Also, you need to lay off the personal attacks and the baiting of other members.

You're right, I'll stop. Sorry BK if the jokes are personal, totally not meant to be. Don't know how to delete the message above. Just ignore it, but by the time you read this you already read that. Man, I can't win.

Also, please don't call me slick...that's getting very personal and I don't like it.

First my parking structure comment is not about your parking or driving skill. When you read other posts you will soon learn about the parking structure reference.

From your first post some of us immediately knew you are Asian.

Regarding Mrs BK I will have to give you some credit for having perception.

You may even get some credit for guessing me as an old man not as old as the Karate Kid Master or Yoda.

Do you know the term Riceburner?

Man Childplease you are good and how did you know my wife was an mail order bride from China with a shanghainese accent.

I will have to take back my word about you that booksmart actually did teach you about perception.

My goldfish Ziploc baggy Chinese wife is looking for good people to help out her valedictorian staff would you like to apply?
