I went through this source article:

Then visited the sales site:

Pretty interesting stuff if I must say so. The floorplans are basic, all 1 level, but reasonably sized and appointed. I'm not sure if the trade off of a $500k 3-D printed property in a $600k traditional build market (Austin, Texas) would be a strong enough reason to buy a home with the somewhat strange wall texturing, but it's a start in an unusual direction in addressing housing costs. Perhaps affordable homes in OC are within reach if this home construction technology is deployed wisely. Time will tell.
