Looks like there are two different developments in the area - 6 pack motorcourt homes and 4 pack motorcourt homes.
Also, on the other side of the hill, looks like there's a SFD with 2500+ sq ft homes, some of which appear to have some pretty nice city views.
I think I have seen a few resales of Petaluma and Marin on Redfin that have done quite well. I'd have to go back and double check, but I thought I saw some Petaluma's at 1mil+, Marin's at 1.1mil+.
I think moreso that it's close to a lot of things. Sure, we aren't talking night and day vs other development, but it does seem to be convenient in that regard. SG seems to have appreciated fairly well, which is in the same general vicinity.
I have to imagine the ROI of that for the second buyer won't be great. They bought it from the first seller without any landscaping, so they had to landscape that entire thing. I can't imagine how much that might have cost, but I'm guessing to guess it was quite a bit, lol.
The first buyer...
I wouldn?t put too much stock into some price drops for overpriced housing. Things are a bit slower now than a few months ago, but I feel that is somewhat normal - spring usually seems to have a more rapid selling pace than mid-summer.
I would say go for a home that suits your needs and personal situation the best. Appreciation is a factor, but I would say it is a bigger factor if you are moving into a starter home vs a longer-term home. Given the size of Elderberry, I?m guessing you intend to stay put in your new home for...
Another example as to why to never buy the model:
https://www.redfin.com/CA/Irvine/127-Branch-92618/home/51684947
Bought for 2mil in 2015, sold for 1.825mil 3 years later :(
Or, alternatively, they can hang onto their young players and sign Kawhi as a FA next year.
Even if they traded for Kawhi, they aren't beating the Warriors this year. Maybe by next year, the kids take a step forward and Kawhi is added to the fold.
We'll see how it works out. I see that some blue states are crafting work-arounds so that people can still fully deduct their state income tax + property tax. Who knows if it'll come to fruition and if the IRS will allow it, but it does seem that states are attempting to create work-arounds...
If your intent is to live in it, I would say go with whatever you may want in a home :)
More specifically - through the builder, you want to get anything that's in the walls (insulation, in-ceiling speakers, etc) or electrical (recessed lights). If you want to upgrade countertops, I'd probably...
"It'll be back in city council's hands" doesn't really sound too reassuring though, either :P
Asides from Lalloway, any indication that others on the council would support the ARDA site?
