I got the same insane design price of $70K to do wood 1st and 2nd fl plush carpet upgrade.  I did a quick search outside and got a quote for demo (carpet) + new pad + install for under $6/foot; installed in 1 day. -- all the options for tiling and flooring are pretty high IMHO.

I also bought in Padova, but found the design center limiting.  There weren't options to allow full porcelain slabs and or other type of countertop options.  Did anyone opt to install vinyl (reduce effort to demo tile) or go aftermarket on carpet? I think may end up going with builder for 1st...

Paid out of what tax dollars?  Maybe those in the OH3 Reserve and Eastwood could have a specific bond to buy out the company and have it shut down.

Not if the bank is too big to fail (aka TARP).  BofA is propped up by the US Government.  As long as we can print money and stick to socialist ideals, BofA will not bankrupt itself.

For those who were interested... the current sold map for LV as of  4/30/12.  From what the sales office told us, they have sold faster than they can build and haven't been offering any incentives other than the $2,500 builders credit for using the in-house lender on unbuilt homes.
