NEW -> Contingent Buyer Assistance Program
As stated in the other thread, the Buzz is back and the ID.4 will become the ID.Tiguan as VW goes back to names over numbers. The EV Tiguan will also have a more ICE car look and interior physical buttons (anti-Musk):

The new Rivan R2s are hitting the street and soon we should see the $25k Slate. I still think the new Ford EV Truck will be a better deal than the Slate but won't know until it's revealed (and if it can stick to its $30k price).

Still not sure if we will see the Scout trucks/suvs.

They butchered the 2027 X5. I’m assuming the 2028 X7 is next. I guess maybe I’ll consider a Tesla :-(
Never thought I would say that.

It would be the Model Y or Model Y L right?

I'm trying to get my older relatives (in their 70s and 80s) to get the Model Y and FSD. There is no doubt that it is safer than them driving. But they are old school and like to run their cars into the ground (it works fine so why replace it) instead of seeing it as a piece of technology that gets better and safer. They are also averse to all subscriptions lol.. So it has been a hard sell.. but many of their friends are raving about it and peer influence will get them there, hopefully soon.

But I heard Tesla's are glorified golf carts (just joking, LOL! 😂) I would only get a Tesla for FSD, otherwise the overall build quality seems inferior to the German brands and Tesla still doesn't offer all the bells and whistles like the German brands do!

It’s the exterior of the 2027 X5 that I don’t like. I’m assuming the 2028 X7 will look similar - I guess I have 3 years for the new design to grow on me so we will see. I also don’t like the fact that there are no gauges behind the steering wheel either. They also got rid of the manual vent controls for the AC which I really don’t like but I think they stole that from Tesla.

Yeah, the design of the newer BMW's for sure look funky! Also the new steering they added to the newer models doesn't look great or ergonomic to use! I guess everyone is trying to copy Tesla's minimalist design these days with the iPad like screen with no physical buttons (which probably saves them money as well at the same time with less use of materials!).
