How low can we go? 30 yr fixed at 3.75% with no fees...

NEW -> Contingent Buyer Assistance Program
I’m very confused on why this needs to go to court. I think it should be quite easy to pull up the documents to vet whether there was mortgage fraud or not from Cook.

I just refinanced my 5.875 ARM to 5.625 ARM. But I was also paying down principle aggressively so the monthly payment dropped 45%.
I'm refinancing my 5.875% 7/6 ARM to 5.375% 7/6 ARM, using the $1M relationship program, which knocked off 0.5%, same as what I did when I closed escrow last July.

We live in the age of blame shifting. It's not me. It's "a paperwork error" or "an innocent mistake". An honorable person would have taken the hit and quietly moved out of the spotlight. Lisa Cook is not that person.

Remember dear reader that in our world today... Personal responsibility, just like taxes, are only for little people.....

I would be shocked if they do not have evidence of Cook committing mortgage fraud and publicly calling her out for doing so. It sounds like Cook is trying to save face at this point by "suing" the government which I think is a joke and a waste of tax paying dollars.

Even CNN Admits Trump Had Cause to Fire Fed Governor Lisa Cook

According to Honig, Cook purchased three properties in rapid succession under highly questionable circumstances.

“Let me just sort of try to bottom line it,” Honig said. “There’s three properties, okay. Within a two-week stretch, she purchases, she gets a mortgage on a place in Michigan and says that’s her principal residence. Two weeks later, she gets a mortgage on a place in Atlanta in Georgia and says that’s her primary residence. And now there’s a third place in Cambridge that she said was her secondary residence, but she’s actually renting it out.”

Why does this matter? Honig explained that claiming multiple properties as primary residences can yield enormous financial benefits. “Because you get better interest rates. Because you get better tax benefits, that can be worth tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars,” he said.

Granted I haven't dug into the details on this news item, but it sure seems like there is something shady. And a Fed governor should absolutely know better. The self dealing (on both sides of the aisle) needs to end and have consequences.

So I dug into this a little more and the grey area lies on whether actions committed prior to Cook being in the Fed can be used to get her removed. The alleged mortgage fraud was committed prior to her being in the Fed and not during.

This is in essence is what they charged Trump with, lying or exaggerating on an official financial form. In Trump‘s case they said he overinflated pricing in her case she lied about occupancy. In both cases the banks did not complain. It’s difficult for Democrats to cry foul when they’re so proud of the Trump prosecutions. Turnabout is fair play and politics is a Blood sport. This was a brilliant move😂😂😂👍🏽🇺🇸

Wait... you are contradicting yourself. You are saying both should be scrutinized the same but only one should be kicked out of their position?
Not at all..Trump has already been “charged” and “convicted”. But the voters don’t care and elected him anyway. Cook hasn’t even been charged yet but it’s not up to the voters if she keeps her job, convicted or not. It’s up to Trump. That gives him the opening to terminate with “cause”. Voters have no say.🤷🏽‍♂️😂😂😂👍🏽🇺🇸
