President Trump

NEW -> Contingent Buyer Assistance Program
Irvine has had a fascist police force going back to the 90's. Driving while brown was a very real crime. And being Asian while attending UCI was cause for harassment.

Now there are so many Asians living in Irvine the police have had to back off on racial profiling, but the "America's Safest City" accolades over recent decades were due to these policies.
I’ve mentioned this anecdote before but worth repeating: in the early 90s I played a lot of hoops at Heritage Park, evenings and weekends. Incredible hoops scene - best I’ve ever experienced. Lots of brothers. One Saturday the crowd got huge, with girlfriends and drinking etc. The next morning when I went to the courts Irvine PD was at the parking entrance , checking IDs to restrict usage to Irvine residents. Not sure that was legal but the scene totally changed, for the worse.

But, but, but…50 Nobel prize winning economists signed a letter telling us that Trump would tank the economy…😳🤦🏽‍♂️😂😂😂👍🏽🇺🇸

U.S. economy expanded 3.3% in Q2, with growth even stronger than initially

  • Gross domestic product rose at a 3.3% annualized pace in the April-through-June period, the Commerce Department reported.
  • The reading was better than the initial 3.0% estimate as well as the 3.1% Dow Jones consensus forecast, as consumer spending helped push the number higher.

I thought the safest city designation was from lack of crime reporting. It definitely wasn’t from police carrying military grade weapons standing outside Costco and walking through strip malls with assault rifles.
So it's not fascism because Irvine manipulates statistics and the public's perception?

Last I checked, Irvine PD officers are still armed with pistols and shotguns. When a black/brown/Asian person is harassed by Irvine PD, I don't think they are worried about whether it's an assault rifle or a handgun that might kill them. The salient point is that they are under threat for not being racially acceptable in the city of Irvine.

Pretty sure I said I was selling and it was going to adjust to reflect the realization that Biden economy sucked. When it hit bottom in march/April I told you to load up…not cherry picking but pretty perfect timing. My clients will tell you so😂😂😂👍🏽🇺🇸

Stop acting like you don't know what I mean. Trump said it was Biden's stock market when it was down and then it was Trump's when it was up. The effects of tariffs is going to take more than 8 months... and maybe you're right... but if any of your clients are in the import business (or rely on imports), it does have an effect (ask zubs).

But it's okay... tariffs, illegal arrests, militarization... it's the chaos era!!

Harmonization codes can be fucked with.
Lots of foreign companies quoting DDP (Delivered and Duty paid) incoterm
It means the seller pays customs.

So the foreign seller bears responsibility when CBP catches them calling something the wrong harmonization code.
I wonder how insulated the buyer is from CBP black listing if they get caught buying with DDP.
Plus foreign sellers are now stuffing containers with goods in the far back bottom, and not declaring the goods.

Foreign seller believes this will keep the buyer out of trouble because it's the seller who declares and pays customs, but ...I'm sure CBP will not be happy with the buyer conspiring with seller.

The uptick in DDP selling is causing CBP to audit DDP containers more than others.

Objectively, these reports of Trump's health are malarky. Well.. other than dementia and delusions of grandeur... his physical health seems pretty good for a guy of his age/shape. All these "Oh look at the bruises and swelling" stuff is so dumb.

And Vance would probably be a step down (although he did impress me with his debate performance).

Some day some study will show that McDonalds and KFC were superfoods that everyone should have been eating and that kale causes cancer…😂😂😂😂👍🏽🇺🇸

The stench of desperation hangs thick in the air😂😂😂🇺🇸

Rep. Maxine Waters calls for using the 25th Amendment to find out what’s ‘wrong’ with Donald Trump

From GPT:

If you want the clearest, nonpartisan, data-driven evidence that crime is down, the best sources are the ones that collect or analyze crime statistics without political framing. Here are the top options:

1. FBI Uniform Crime Reporting (UCR) Program
  • The FBI is the official federal repository for crime data.
  • Their 2024 Annual Report showed:
    • Violent crime down 4.5%
    • Murder down 14.9%
    • Robbery down 8.9%
    • Property crime at its lowest since 1961

  • This is as close as it gets to nonpartisan, authoritative data.
    🔗 FBI – 2024 Crime Statistics
2. Council on Criminal Justice (CCJ)
  • A bipartisan think tank made up of criminologists, former law enforcement leaders, and policy experts.
  • Their Mid-Year 2025 Update (tracking 42 major cities) found:
    • Homicides down 17% vs 2024
    • Gun assaults down 21%
    • Carjackings down 24%
    • Most categories of crime below pre-pandemic 2019 levels

  • Widely respected by both Republicans and Democrats.

3. NORC at the University of Chicago (Independent Research Group)
  • Runs a Live Crime Tracker, updating continuously with police department data.
  • Their 2024 analysis showed:
    • Homicide down 20.9%
    • Auto theft down 18.6%
    • Burglary down 16.8%

  • NORC is nonpartisan and highly trusted in data collection.

Even Repulicans recognize the drop.

Maybe it's not accurate but 3 different sources state the same trend so not sure it's "total BS".

The bigger concern is autonomy of city, state, fed (ironic because that was partly the concern of the 2nd Amendment long ago).

I have a friend who is also very red and he doesn't think this is a big deal either... unless a Democrat does it. :)
Where the rubber (or bodies) meets the road…not some BS statistics but real dead bodies…Pritzker, “Remain calm…all is well!!”🤦🏽‍♂️👎🏽😡🙈

54 shot, 7 killed in Chicago weekend bloodbath after Pritzker claims Trump, National Guard not needed

Bodies are piling up on the streets of Chicago over Labor Day weekend – with 54 shot, including seven killed, as President Trump and Illinois Gov. Pritzker spar over sending the National Guard into the Windy City.

At least 32 separate shootings occurred in Chicago between Friday evening and noon on Monday, according to a review of police incident reports by ABC News.

An argument is not just the automatic gainsaying of what the other person says….or deploying the “Liar, Liar pants on fire!!” defense….Were seven people killed in Irvine over the weekend? All those bullets flying in Chicago tell the real story…Don’t be stupid and believe your lying eyes.🤦🏽‍♂️😂😂😂🇺🇸

This is just an excuse.

Crime has always been an issue in Chicago and most dense urban areas which are conveniently left leaning.

Why aren't we sending in the military to take care of opioid abuse?

Regardless, this is a local/state issue... not federal.
