There are signs up all over the neighborhood and they are putting flyers on our doors. I'm wondering if anyone has the inside scoop? It seems very personal.

I've been closely following the Quail Hill Recall controversy.
Here is my blog (just started this weekend):

I may be biased, but I think I'm trying to provide a fact-based blog ... whereas the pro-recall blogs seem to be pure "yellow journalism"

It's especially interesting, given how bland their candidate statements are.

Currently, I receive emails from 3 parties (directly, or indirectly): Doug, Evan, and a mysterious 3rd-party (who is pro-Doug, but apparently is someone who does not talk to Doug).

I think this is exemplified by the 3 different types of signage that we see in Quail Hill.

If you can add some drama to this site, it would be appreciated.  Despite ! living in Quail Hill, I would read this thread if it were interesting.

At this point, I think there are 3 parties doing the signage:

* Evan's side - Evan, Himanshu, Charlene, Dean
* Doug's side - Doug, Alyssa
* Anonymous - qhfamily1@aol.com (but in favor of Doug)

Evan's are the "Yes on recall" signs
Doug's are the "No on recall, stop the nonsense" signs
Anonymous are the hand-drawn signs (and also the trailer sign) and anti-Evan

What makes this even more interesting is that one of the drivers of the recall ran for city council, last year; and has filed paperwork to run next year.

Proposition 8 has come up, ISL swim team is also an issue.  There is much name-calling and claims of financial misdeeds.

Finally, the previous property management company is suing the architect of the recall, for defamation.
 
My husband and I are Quail Hill residents trying to figure out what the real issues are regarding this recall. We called and emailed each person on the Board and the only person that did NOT get back to us was Doug Swardstrom. That's very unnerving to us. We left messages on his cell phone and we spoke with someone at his office who said they would relay the message personally. That was over two weeks ago.

I have a blog where I am attempting to only provide provable facts.  I use google searches of reputable website, city hall records, superior court records and the pro-recall blogs.  I've requested multiple documents from our HOA management company (which they have promptly provided).  All data that I've evaluated are public access.

Please let me know if anything that I claim is fact seems incorrect.  I can either point you to a blog entry with the links to the data (or the summary of court/city hall records), or will generate a blog entry with the needed data.

If you have any questions that you want me to research concerning the recall, I would be happy to do the groundwork.
