Yahoo 1.2.2 search feature on Firefox

In my opinion the search feature for Firefox - Yahoo 1.2.2 an Add-on is really annoying.

When I simply highlight a word, then a small search button automatically appears above the word. Many times I click it, when I don't want to search the word. *so annoyed* To top it off the search search feature is yahoo. You know what I feel about yahoo search.

So I found the answer to my problem, but why do I have to "go out of my way to get remove the Yahoo 1.2.2 search feature"?

Yeah? I've never really compared the porn-I mean private modes of the popular browsers, is there a big difference? I thought they would all basically do the same thing.

I believe all modern browsers have a private/incognito mode.

It basically just prevents history, persistent cookies etc.
