Those floor plans are owned by insidertract.com hence why not allowed to be put on any other website.

In general, I believe that individual bought the right to all the floor plans so you can get a floor plan of almost any home in Orange County from that site.

Thanks for responses.  I will PM irvinerealtor, but if he's not able to help me, then I'll check out insidetrack.com.

i know they offer it all for a fee but so many agents offer floorplans for free.  i am surprised that they can own the rights to it.

with all the folks looking at new house developments, it might make sense to create a thread for each tract and we can upload floorplans, marketing brochures, and docs.

InsideTract.com is actually a great service as it offers you more than just floorplans, you can do a search by street name, city, neighborhood and even get the tract data, builder info and a few other things.

What USC is referring to is that realtors can't publicly publish floorplans that they got from the InsideTract service... if they were floorplans they got themselves from the builder's website or brochures they scanned themselves, it's fine and what many realtors are doing (esp with the newer homes). But for older homes where access to the floorplans online is close to impossible (try finding a Northwood floorplan built in 1978 online)... usually the only place to get it is from InsideTract and they don't want you to make it public via a website without their permission.

Some of the newer neighborhoods like Woodbury and Portola Springs, "area realtors" have their floorplans on their sites... and you'll see that going forward since most realtors are "online" now.
