Which lenders have you had good experiences with?

Am shopping for a good lender for a first mortgage on a property we are thinking of putting an offer for:

LTV of 25%, which is about 160K to be financed
30 Yrs Fixed or 15 Yrs if competitive

Haven't approached any bank or lender except lending tree, but am wary due to comments online about them, not sure if they are ok.

Anyone had any experience with good lenders out there? Won't hold you accountable, just any bunch of good people we can start with will be super helpful. Wells Fargo?
MetLife? Anyone?

We have excellent credit

As has been mentioned, big bank rates suck.  SGIP is good person to start with.

SGIP did my loan and it was the easiest and smoothest home financing transaction I have had.  He is a totally trustworthy guy and will tell you everything up front.

I referred SGIP to my co-worker who was having trouble refinancing with another lender and my co-worker was so happy with how fast and professional SGIP was and got the refi done exactly as promised.
