Where will the veteran cemetery be built?

When they actually build it. That is the time to sell. (My opinion and not financial advice. For entertainment purposes only. )

Why? We love veterans.

They should build it now, prices are crazy and the cemetery probably wouldn't affect prices too much since people are bidding up homes, maybe those who don't care can score something close to list.

The golf course proposed location is shown here:https://images.app.goo.gl/yUYGUBGfFFxrv7av5

The air traffic control tower can be seen from most areas of the park.  I believe it?s east of the tennis courts, somewhere in the area marked ?Cultural Terrace?

I believe the other site is the area that is grayed out on this map between the golf course and cadence park. My understanding is the sites are literally next to each other and I have never understood why it matters. Unless I'm wrong and the two sites are actually far apart, I don't think it makes a difference but they should absolutely build the cemetery to honor the veteran's and the history of the former base.

This ppt is as of yesterday:

https://irvine.granicus.com/MetaViewer.php?view_id=&clip_id=5387&meta_id=116445

says "discussions" between 5p and state on that golf course site

on other notes, dang, that huge structure on slide 9!  (gp mello roos?)
slide 11, lifetime fitness still happening, and gp's retail (aka pop up village) with no eta

that arda site may be a fire museum/learning center/storage according to this?

The city website shows a current picture.https://legacy.cityofirvine.org/civica/filebank/blobdload.asp?BlobID=32048

I'm sure it'll take forever to build with all the in fighting. They should've just built it at the strawberry fields.

Yeah it will probably take forever. I thought the current fight was between the site the City is noting here and the "ARDA" site?https://legacy.cityofirvine.org/civica/filebank/blobdload.asp?BlobID=31773

Because in a certain culture, living buy a cemetery is considered negative Feng Shui. Also, there are people (non Asian) consider living by a cemetery is taboo. (Ghost fear)

It's a little hard to tell on the maps, but the golf course site which the city seems to be identifying as their preferred location doesn't seem to be next to any homes? There is other gardens/etc in between the cemetery and homes. So maybe that's why the City likes that spot because it's a good compromise? Complete speculation I have no idea how far from homes would be considered acceptable.
