Yes, you all found it. It is at the corner of Bonita Canyon and MacArthur. It's a memorial to the old <a href="http://www.yesterland.com/buffalo.html">Newport Harbor Buffalo Ranch</a>.



The tourist attraction operated from 1955 to about 1960. When it closed, architect William Pereira set up shop in one of the farm buildings and designed the campus for UCI and also came up with a master plan for the city of Irvine.



Maybe I should have posted this picture instead. It would have been more challenging.
