Where in Irvine was this photo taken? #1

Growing up in Bay Area, I have fond memories of reading the weekly local paper and one of the things they did was publish a photo of a part of the city and ask readers to identify where it was taken.



I thought I'd try doing the same here.



Any guesses where this was taken?

I "hate" Irvine, so I wouldn't have the slightest clue. But... I am open to learning more. Also, is it possible to expand this to where in "OC" was this taken? It could open the minds of those who "hate" every OC city other than Irvine, and those who "hate" just Irvine. I've got some non-Irvine 3-car garages in mind for IHO, with sidewalks too! Plus some other non-Irvine cool things like zovall posted. This could be a lot of fun.
 
UCIrine Arboretum. It is called the Lady in the Garden. The arboretum maintenance is very poor due to the limited budget. The frown of the Palmetto palm has not been trimmed for years. The gravel path in front of the statue where the decomposed granite and lime shale has been worn off are another sign of lack of maintenance. Weeds have invaded the path. Many arboretums pride themselves with well maintained plants and ground. Due to the lack of emphasis at this garden it is definitely a University run operation.

I vote that the only way BK can play is by posting pics, and not answering where the pics were taken. Otherwise the challenge needs to be renamed: BK, where in Irvine/OC (damn you non-Irvine haters) was this picture taken? Maybe allow him to drop some clues, but that is it. Oh... and if he doesn't know where it was taken, then he has to say so. Which will only happen 1 out of 888 times, but that is okay, more of a challenge for us to take more pics.
