Where are the open houses?

I have noticed the same thing, but I am looking at Turtle Rock or the Port Streets. I think they have given up- however, i really think they are helpful- I don't want to have to call my realtor and see a house with me if I can do it myself. Sometimes when a new home comes on and I am interested in the house, I go on a Thursday at lunchtime to see if there is a realtor open house, and I just go inside and take a quick look.

I figure no sales = no commission = no budget for realtors.

BTW..what happened to all the signs pointing to the open house..now I only see one sign :/

Before he gave up and started selling cruises, my realtor buddy gave a

few open houses here in South Florida.

He hung around during the open house period, but nobody came at all.

I found the house I'm living in now at an open house.

I think institutional financing has to come back before the mkt can recover.

Right now, here, it effectively doesn't exist.

I'm not asking for fog a mirror underwriting. I am asking for people who

have a glitch or 2, but still appear to be reasonable loan candidates, to

be granted mtges.

However, I guess the bottom line is banks are not loaning money, because

they have no money to loan, which I've posted before, is the real reason that

they aren't loaning.
