What Was Your High School Personality?

FOB my freshman year :) . One high school classmate asked me during my first year in this country if I eat p---y. I didn't know what it was so I just smiled and nodded my head. It was more than 30 years ago and I still can laugh about it.

Partier with a social circle that encompassed everyone from the geeks on the debate team to the dirtbags in Metallica t-shirts. Primary focus was where the party was going to be, and what girls would be there --- as opposed to academics. Cranked up the academic knob when absolutely necessary, and graduated HS 73rd of 430, good enough but could have been better --- but of course then I would not have had nearly as much fun.

I've pretty much not changed in the last 19 years, except for that extra 50 lbs.

Ouch! That hurt.

We will listen to your suggestions and complaints, and try to incorporate your ideas in everything we do.

Hippy Time.

Long Hair and got in plenty of trouble. Being the Oldest my Parents were totally

freeked out. After all it was Venice and 1973. Way too much fun. Killed many a brain cell.

Still remember 5th Period Surfing Class. It was next to the Nude Beach.

Life was good and seemed so much more simple then.

Me: Not nerdy but not a cool kid. Engaged in lots of extra-curricular activities... writer and news editor of our school paper for all four years... Girls' League President, event-planning committees, Nat'l Honors Society to German Club and everything in between. I was on friendly terms with everybody from the stoner to the lonely wallflower to the jock, but my main circle of friends were the over-achievers. It was more work than fun... never went to a party.

Over-achiever. Getting into college wasn't the goal, it was getting it all paid for with scholarships that was my main aim. That was my independent ticket out of the 909. I even did a stupid pageant to get scholarship money.

I didn't party much, either, but I have no regrets. I always had a boyfriend, was always busy, and I never had a single student loan for my 5 years of higher education.

My first slam pit experience was at an Agent Orange/TSOL concert at UC Riverside many, many, many years ago. Came out with minimal toe and elbow damage but drenched in other-people's sweat.

I'd post my senior picture from my HS yearbook, but unfortunately I was out drinkin' that morning, which was not an uncommon occurrence early my Senior year. It should be impossible to miss as much class as I did and still graduate with a GPA over 4...

There is however a picture of me somewhere in the annual wearing a toga and "gatoring" during a skit at a pep rally though. :)

There is a picture of me and some friends with beer cans in our hands in my senior year annual. The annual staff glued pictures of fake soda over the beer cans, but it was very obvious. Between that and the obscene things guys seem to write in annuals, my future kids will not be viewing my annuals until they are out of high school.

I didn't really have a personality; I blended in with the crowd. That was a good thing since I missed quite a few classes (putting it mildly) but was never marked absent. I graduated with a near perfect attendance record and good grades because I always showed up to take the tests and turn in my assignments.
