What to expect as a first time home buyer

Could anyone give me information about first time home buying process with irvine pacific......? Just signed one.

Welcome to TI and congrats on you new home.

After pre-qualified, get on the priority list, got contacted to purchase a home, deposit placed and paper signed, you are on to the next step, choosing upgrades at the design center.

I post some tips about design center process here and again here.  Some of the thing might be different now since my experience was about 2 years ago, hope some recent IP buyers can share any of the changes they noticed.

Also for Irvine Pacific buyers, IP will held an "Counting Down to Closing" event at the design center for the new home buyers.

Basically it's a free dinner event allows buyers to met some of IP staffs and their new neighbors. They group buyers from the same village and with similar time frame of close-of-escrow together. 

It's a great chance to meet some of your new neighbors and a good chance to gossip about the buying experience.  Haven't heard IP buyers mention this event for a while now so not sure if they still offer it.  But if they still do, definitely sign up for it.
