I read the article where IrvineRenter talks about his forecasted median home price in 2012 as 357K, but what is the median home price now?
What is current median home price in irvine?

I think I actually said $375K not $357, but I do believe the median will drop under $400K as foreclosures pile up and interest rates rise.
You can find the May 2009 Median from Dataquick here.
It is $550,000.

FWIW, June's median price is back up to $580K. Info updated at www.irvinerealtorsite.com.
Median is still a garbage stat for RE but do with it what you will.
