What are investors with all cash doing?

NEW -> Contingent Buyer Assistance Program
Okay, I understand the all cash investors are trying to put there money someplace where it'll work for them - the stock market is iffy, etc. But my question is, are they going to squat on a vacant property for years to come, hoping for profit down the line? Rent it out in the mean time and become landlords to offset some of the mortgage/taxes? Flipping? What?

If they're all cash, that means they have little or no mortgage. Some(like auction vultures) will try a quick flip. FCBs rent out the house, make a small profit on rent, and wait for appreciation.

If you have hundreds of thousands sitting around and you want a conservative investment, the rent on an all-cash purchase is gonna be a better return than anything the banks are offering right now.
