We should start a mushroom hunting club

I've often wondered what's edible and what isn't out there. Need someone who knows first what to look for, then where to look. It's been too dry this past year to really see a great number of mushrooms. Maybe next year.

A good friend of mine went to Tustin High School in the 1976-1980 year range. They had an Ag program there for a while. Don't know if it's still there. As a side venture they'd produce magic mushrooms (for personal consumption only) whenever they'd get the right fertilizer delivered and conditions warranted.
 
Whenever my dad goes to Poland, he always go mushroom picking in the forests over there.  He'll bring a bunch back that have been dried out so grandma can use them when she cooks.  But yeah, he knows which ones are edible and which ones aren't.
