Ok, so at church on Sunday, our pastor suggested that we do our parts to get to know our neighbors and see if they would like us to pray for them. He asked us to set aside one day a week for a month to do this. When I think of who my neighbor is, the first thing that comes to mind is you all. Many of you are much more like neighbors to me than my actual neighbors. I would like to see if anybody here could help me out with this. Maybe you are somebody I know very well and maybe you are a lurker who has never posted before. Either way, that is fine. I feel like people are more inclined anyway to share "anonymously" than with someone face-to-face. You can send me a PM with <em>as much</em> or <em>as little</em> info as you want to. (Anything you write will be kept private.) I am going to take them and my family is going to set aside time to pray for you. You can laugh or you can call me a fool if you want but this is something I want to do for you. (No Vas you get one free pass to post any picture you want. ;-) It's ok, I already sort of feel like one of the Flanders at the idea of walking up to a neighbor in person... "Hi-diddly-ho, Neighbor!" :lol:) BTW, I apologize in advance if your PM bounces back. My inbox might reach capacity because of the emails I'm working on with Peter's meal schedule. I will try to clear them out asap.

Why you gotta do that? Socal is trying to do something good here and there you go post a picture of two testicles. Very disappointed.

If somebody stuck two testicles in the search under "kindness" God help us all.

I know.. i was kinda shocked myself. Let's get this thread in the right direction. Yeah, same feeling as Socal.. I sort of feel like you guys have become my cyber neighbors as well. "I really love this IHB community man" sniff sniff - wiping my tears.
 
Actually, I'll have to give the credit for that comment to my husband. Truth be told, No Vas's picture made me a little verklempt so I showed my husband how nice that was and he said it looked like two testicles. LOL. He always knows how to lighten the mood. (Sorry for the scare, Panda. Bad SoCal!)

1. taken a mormon to a gentlemens club... and made him stray from the church for a lifetime

2. Made weapons of mass distruction - N, B or C

3. worked with people who actively search out the unhappy element and arrange a meeting

4. and a few other unmentionalbe things...



but you are in the real estate and finance... so i guess you qualify! :lol:

Yes, it will do good to pray for money. You may not like the answer, but God knows better for you than you know yourself. If you listen as part of your prayer, you will over time learn what God wants for you in terms of money and everything else. And if you pray about anything, His plan will become your plan.

You ever read about Nebechanezer, or David, or Saul, or ... ? David had his best friend, Uriah, killed so he could diddle Uriah's wife. Have you had your best friend's wife killed lately?







My guess is that on "not so bad" scale, you ain't too bad.
