Not sure why they are building so fast, but in 2008 they built 3 phases, 11, 12 & 13. At this rate with only 2 phases left they will be done in 2009.

This portion of the market has the best sales opportunities right now. Low enough for first time homebuyers who have sat on the sidelines for a while. When deciding which sections to continue and which to put on hold they realized that Camden Place was still selling well enough to continue construction. It's a seven month construction cycle so depending on when they roll out the next phases it will be late 2009 early 2010 before the last unit closes escrow (at a minimum).

well the community mirabella is most likely on hold right now. plus even though many of the places are sold it seems super quiet and dark.

i live in cambridge lane and decided to check out the models at camden place. i thought plans 1 and 3 were awesome. i didn't like the layout of plan 2 though. i thought it was retarded the guest bathroom is in the kitchen. plan 3 is great for someone looking to rent out since all 3 bedrooms are on seperate floors. i dont know why but they have mostly plan 2's and very few 1's and 3's.

The Plans 1 & 2 are interior units, while the Pan 3s are all end units. Therefore, there are two Plan 3s for every building (most of the buildings have 4-6 units). That explains the fewer number of Plan 3s, but I can't explain why there aren't more Plan 1s in the buildings.

I agree, the plan 2 layout is a little...different. Not a huge fan myself. Plan 3 is the best for families out of the three, and Plan 1 is a really good rental for singles. No noise complaints! (Except from your neighbor for playing Rock Band too loud)

I think Kensington Court has the ideal townhome layout (and hence the high price tag). Plan 2 is the only one that resembles that. Plan 1 and 3 are just... weird, I guess, unless you're not asian.

We are buying a plan 2 and the only thing I would wish differently is that the den was on the 3rd floor and the other full bath was on the 1st floor. Otherwise it is a good setup especially if you have a baby because then they can be close.

The guest bath is not in the kitchen. That is just a powder room and it makes sense for it to be on the 2nd floor as it is an expansive entertaining area, then people don't have to use your master bath or go downstairs to use a restroom when you are entertaining on the 2nd floor. The actual guest bath in the guest room is on the 3rd floor. If I had my choice I would have put the guest bedroom and full guest bath on the 1st floor that way it is separated from the rest of the house. But the office on the 1st floor is great if you work from home or are in school (getting your masters) because it is much quieter away from everything. Plus Plan two has by far the best kitchen with the large island. Plan 1's kitchen is second best and I just absolutely dislike plan 3's dark kitchen. Plus in plan 3 you lose your kitchen nook and all you have is your dining room squashed in with the small living room area. Of course different plans definately appeal to different buyers for different reasons.

my gf and i like plan 2 too, for the same reasons. but we were looking at the floor plans tonight, and couldnt remember that it matched what we saw.

did the master have a tub in it? we cant remember what the shower/bath looked like.

also, if we call the person to tell them that we are interested in a home, but far into next year, will they really care to help us? or are they only concerned with current phases?

The master has a glassed in shower, the guest bath on the same floor has a bath in it. I would call and talk to Arlene and let her know you are interested in buying and find out when the next phase or last phase is closing. Tell them when you hope to buy and they can let you know if you will have a chance to buy.

From what I heard, phase 10 was the last phase that they included tubs in the master bath's for plan 2 and 3. Also, stainless steel appliances.

The m.b. is shower only for 12 +

Stainless Steel appliances are still there they just switched from a convection oven to a regular one

Looks like Phase 11 owners are moving in today. If anyone's on here welcome to the neighborhood.

I bought in Phase 11, and we still have the tub in the master bathroom, I was told that starting with Phase 12, the tub will not come with jets. Additionally, the appliances will be one level down on GE's line.
