Oriental is a beautiful word and describes people with certain characteristics from a region. 

The article states that we must call them Asian-Americans.  Orientals living in Japan are Asian-Americans.  Orientals living in China are now Asian-Americans.  Indians living in India, should also be called Asian-Americans.  ISIS soldiers in Iraq should also be referred to as Asian-Americans.  Russians shall now be referred to as Asian-Americans.
