Unhappy with Job

Thanks Anteater Alum - good points and that's the struggle that I have. I do have a family but luckily my wife has the type of job where she can work from home - so she picks them up, attends the t-ball practices, etc. Sometimes I feel I am getting dumber the longer I stay here as there is no opportunity to think critically and outside the box. Just last week when I was doing my taxes, it took me longer than usual to calculate some numbers. Also, the laziness aspect seems to be affecting my performance at home and in social settings.
 
That said, I do believe that govt workers are slugs

WTF? How can you make such a blanket statement? I'm a government worker.
