Yes, the property did sell for $830k in 2007. There is no debt on the property as it was a cash purchase. Here are the listings agent-to-agent comments:



"This is a probate sale. The executor has full authority to administer this sale. Court confirmation should not be required. Please make offers on CAR Form PPA Probate Purchase Agreement."



Basically what that means is that the owner died and did not have a will and/or a living trust so the property got thrown into probate.
 
From the listing it seems like there is someone living on top of you (Floors = 1). Why would anyone want to pay 650K in Irvine to have someone live above you?
