Moving to Irvine this summer. Coming from a state that has public school buses. How do kids who live far away from school get there in the mornings? Planning to move to Los Olivos Apartments which is zoned for Rancho San Joaquin Middle School, which is about 4 miles away. There is one bus route, but it's already full. I am a teacher so depending on where I get a job, I will not be able to do school drop-offs in the morning, especially as there are "late start" days on Tuesday and Thursdays. Any options besides car pooling?
