Time for Palin to go back to Alaska...

LOL, now she's gone "rogue".

On a side note, a link to this story caught my eye.

<a href="http://www.cnn.com/2008/WORLD/europe/10/25/barcelona.obama.art/index.html?iref=werecommend">See Obama from space !</a>

You could see it happening with Palin. Typical Starstruck behavior.

At first she is just overwhelmed by the publicity and the attention.

Never mind spending some real time outside Alaska for the first time in her life either.

Then she works hard and learns to follow the rules and the party line.

This would be at the time she made her speech at the convention in all her new clothes.

Things were looking up and she thought it was her doing.

But now she is intuitive enough to see the campaign has failed. So now she goes off the

"Reservation" and thinks she is famous enough to command her own future.

With one week to go it will be interesting to see her "end game" with the campaign.

I think we will see some real gaffs as she exits. Personally she was a HUGE mistake

for McCain in hindsight. She was just to radical in her faith and too weak on her

ability to manage an intelligent and educated exchange with the media.

So back to the Great North. I think she will fade into obscurity quickly after the election.

The amusing part is that I keep reading all of these pundolts talking about how she's breaking with JMC's aides in order to preserve her own political career and possible '12 presidential bid. If that's what the GOP has to offer in 4 years, I will feel sorry for them. I really feel that they need to take a look at their focus and organization. How can you run on a platform of restraint of government spending when you have no plan or intention to actually restrain government spending?

Disclaimer: not a democrat.

I cannot wait for next Tuesday to come, so that I can FINALLY stop hearing the words "MY FRIENDS" and "MAVERICK" in the news every day.

John McCain needs to retire from politics and worry about his 7 or 9 or 11 dwindling property values. Palin, needs to go back to college and get further education if she plans on gaining any respect from a person with a brain for a presidency run in 2012.

Lastly, I wonder what McCain will call us after he loses? Surely we will not be his "Friends" any longer.

What Palin has done is to truly divide the Republican party. I have longed for a true third party, one that I would call the centrist party where most of us who are fiscally conservative, but socially liberal can get some real representation. I'd leave the Democratic party for that.

I have to admit though, this woman has inspired the strongest feelings of ill will I have ever held for a human being. Yes, she surpassed W in my book of truly awful people that I want don't want any where near legislation. Go on back to Wasila, go on back to Wasila.

Obama's campaign spokesman Robert Gibbs, commenting on the prank, said: "I'm glad we check out our calls before we hand the phone to Barack Obama."

<blockquote>Palin's shopping spree at high-end department stores was more extensive than previously reported. While publicly supporting Palin, McCain's top advisers privately fumed at what they regarded as her outrageous profligacy. One senior aide said that Nicolle Wallace had told Palin to buy three suits for the convention and hire a stylist but instead she began buying for herself and her family clothes and accessories from top stores such as Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus. According to two knowledgeable sources, a vast majority of the clothes were bought by a wealthy donor, who was shocked when he got the bill. Palin also used low-level staffers to buy some of the clothes on their credit cards. The McCain campaign found out last week when the aides sought reimbursement. One aide estimated that she spent "tens of thousands" more than the reported $150,000, and that $20,000 to $40,000 went to buy clothes for her husband. Some articles of clothing have apparently been lost. An angry aide characterized the shopping spree as <strong><em>"Wasilla Hillbillies looting Neiman Marcus from coast to coast," </em></strong>and said the truth will eventually come out when the Republican party audits its books.

If this doesn't redeem Dan Quayle I don't know what will. And if Sarah Palin is the savor of the GOP in 2012, God be with them.
