Tim Ho Wan has soft opened Wednesday, May 8 in Irvine

I was checking out the google map reviews on this place.  3.4 stars is pretty shitty, but why do people keep saying it's Michelin starred?
There are only 2 Michelin starred restaurants in Orange County, and they are Hanare in the LAB, and a Mexican taco place.

Michelin guide just updated for LA area recently.

I didn't know Hanare was Michelin starred. It's one of the best in OC for sure.

We went on a Friday night, no wait.

It's meh. Expensive and nothing really outstanding. We prefer Paper Lantern actually... or Chef Hung (qwerty alert!).

I still haven?t tried this place and it looks like there is no reason to hurry. Although at this rate it may go out of business before I get a chance.
