Just got approval for a 2.49% 5-year used car auto loan from PenFed.  Best rate in town by far and great customer service.  :-*

Btw, they also have a special rewards credit card where you get 5% back on all gas purchases and 1% back on everything else.  :-*  :-*  :-*

Uh oh--Do I see a used Porsche in your near future???  :)
Not quite yet, I'm waiting for the generation II 997 GT3s (2010+) to come down in price.  I'm staying in the BMW family.

I'm looking forward to drooling over the nex gen 911 (997-->991). Spy photos make it look wider,  the interior should be much nicer (think Panamera), and should be lighter as well. BMW and especially ///M's are great cars but the current set are oblivious to the impact of weight on performance.

Maybe when the next gen 911 comes out the current 997 GT3s will take a price hit.  Honestly, I looked at Mercedes and Audi and even that supercharged Caddy but just keep coming back to BMW.  The experience of having owned an M3 has left a positive impression on me.  Sure the E92 M3 is a bit bloated and is a gas guzzler but how can I resist a White one with a carbon fiber roof?

White vehicles (and iPhones*) are for females and service people. My dad once told me that driving a white vehicle is like driving a household appliance.

*That's for fe9000.

Well when it comes to white e92 M3s they are definitely guy cars and guy magnets. Probably the most common color of m3 in SoCal but for a reason--gotta love that contrasting white body with black carbon fiber roof. Too bad they didn't offer it for the e90 as well.

I hope that's a typo. I mean, it's okay if USC wants a guy magnet car... but not me.

It is sad but true. Most women and male non-car enthusiasts think an M3 is just another regular 3 series. The m3 tends to attract mostly guys versus the more flashy Porsche or Ferrari.

IHO, your minivan would probably attract more women--although they are probably married with several kids ;-)

So what you're saying is that IHO likes to live dangerously. Hm I like.

And that USC's sexual orientation is......nvm.

:D
I never buy a car because what other people may think, I buy because I like it (both looks and speed).  You haven't been reading TI enough because I've asked Irvine Mike if he had a cute single sister in-law.  ;)

I looked at the E63 AMG and the Audi RS4 but BMW just kept calling me back.  After I test prove that E92 M3 with DCT, I knew that was it.

Nice, does your's also have the carbon fiber roof?

Mine doesnt :(  That is one option I do regret not getting.
Enjoy the car bud, it's a great transition from the E46 M3  :D

I found a used 2011 AW with black leather and the comp package (love those comp wheels on the E46 M3) for a good price.  I was leaning on picking up a 6-speed, but afer driving the DCT I had no second thoughts.
